Wayne Augustus Sions Wayne Augustus Sions, age 78, of Keyser, WV and formerly of Moorefield, WV, passed this life on Saturday, February 20, 2010 in Cumberland, MD. Born in Moorefield, WV on April 25, 1934, he was the son of the late Alvin T. Sions and Myrtle M. Weatherholtz Sions. Mr. Sions belonged to the Keyser Moose Lodge. He was a retired dispatcher for the Dennise E. Lupton Trucking Company Mr. Sions was preceded in death by one son, Donald E. Sions. He is survived by three daughters, Karen S. Nelson of Middletown, DE, Helen I. Sions of Frederick, MD, and Kathy A. Grapes of Keyser, WV, two sons, Gregory W. Sions of Herndon, VA and Aurthor W. Sions of Junction City, Kansas, one sister, Dorothy M Hedrick of Moorefield, WV, six grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. Family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 24, 2010 at Elmore Funeral Home, two hours prior to the funeral. A funeral service will then be conducted at the home on Wednesday, February 24, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Joseph Eversole officiating. Burial will follow at the Olivet Cemetery in Moorefield, WV. Arrangements are under the direction of the Elmore Funeral Home.
