Steven Marshall Cullers, Sr.
Steven Marshall Cullers, Sr., age 56, of Moorefield, WV passed this life on
Wednesday, August 1, 2007 at the VA Hospital in Baltimore, MD. Born on
November 15, 1950 in Moorefield, he was the son of the late Brady Vernon
Cullers and is survived by his mother, Ethel Elizabeth Cullers of Moorefield.
Mr. Cullers was preceded in death by two sisters and one brother.
Mr. Cullers is survived by one son, Steven M. Cullers, Jr. of Mt. Jackson, VA,
one sister, Lillian Lee Shoemaker of Moorefield, three brothers, Alvin Leroy
Ratliff and Vernon Cullers, both of Old Fields, WV, and Woodrow Wayne
Cullers of Arthur, WV. He is also survived by a special friend, Dianne Koontz of
Moorefield.
Mr. Cullers served in the United States Army in the Vietnam War, and was a
member of the Moorefield American Legion and the VFW. He was also
employed for the South Branch Valley Railroad.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Friday, August 3,
2007 at the Elmore Funeral Home in Moorefield. A funeral service will be
conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 4, 2007 at the funeral home with
Pastor Harold Cullers officiating. Burial will follow at the Olivet Cemetery in
Moorefield.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Elmore Funeral Home in
Moorefield, WV.
