Sonda Kay Felton
Sonda Kay Felton, age 51, of Fairmont, WV, formerly of Moorefield,
WV passed this life on Sunday, December 2, 2007 at the West
Virginia University Hospital in Morgantown. Born on January 23, 1956
in Winchester, VA, she was the daughter of the late Herman Taylor
and Evelyn Eunice Jones Taylor.
Ms. Felton is survived by two sons, Jeffery J. Taylor of
Harrisonburg, VA and Demetrius Taylor of Fairmont, WV, three
sisters, Kenya Hinger, Cleta Crosco, Tasha Taylor, two brothers, Larry
Taylor and Ray Taylor, all of Moorefield. Also surviving her are four
grandchildren, Meekayla, Jazmya, Jamarion, and Jakiyah. Sonda is
also survived by a special friend, Michael Garrett.
Ms. Felton worked as a cook for the Wishing Well Continuous Care
Center in Fairmont, WV.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday,
December 6, 2007 at the Elmore Funeral Home in Moorefield, WV. A
funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, December 7,
2007 at the funeral home with Pastor Danny Sterns and Pastor Chris
Whetzel officiating. Burial will follow at the Oak Hill Cemetery in
Moorefield, WV.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Elmore Funeral Home
in Moorefield, WV.
