Ruby Mae Malcolm Sherman             Ruby Mae Malcolm Sherman, age 82, of Towson, MD formerly of Moorefield, WV, passed this life on Tuesday, January 4, 2011,  at the Genesis Healthcare Loch Raven Center in Towson, MD. Born in Moorefield, WV, on March 28, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Arthur Malcolm and Bertie Shockey Malcolm. She was preceded in death by her husband, Maynard M. Sherman of Moorefield, WV.       Ruby is survived by her daughter, Cynthia E. Haraughty, son David Sherman both of Towson, MD, two sisters, Alice Oates of Winchester, VA, and Sylvia Crites of Moorefield, WV. She is also survived by two grandchildren.             Ms. Sherman made her living as a sales clerk at Hutzler’s Department Store in Towson, MD. She also enjoyed spending time with her children and friends. Ruby was also an avid gardener and enjoyed antiquing and flea marketing.       The family will receive friends Friday, January 7, 2011, from 6 to 8 PM. A funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, January 8, 2011, at 11AM at the funeral home with Rev. Dr. Jay Parkins officiating. Burial will follow at Olivet Cemetery in Moorefield, WV.       In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to: Alzheimer’s Assocation Northern Regional Office, 1299 Pineview Drive, Suite 3 Morgantown, WV 26505. Arrangements are under the direction of the Elmore Funeral Home.
