Richard Anthony “Rick” Cullers
Richard Anthony “Rick” Cullers, age 48, of Moorefield, WV passed this life on Thursday,
December 27, 2007 at the Grant Memorial Hospital in Petersburg, WV. Born on November
20, 1959 in Alexandria, VA, he is the son of Maxine E. Fitzwater Cullers of Petersburg, WV
and the late Stewart E. Cullers and was preceded in death by one brother.
Rick is survived by his wife, Suzanna Lynn Shook Cullers two sons, Christopher Ray
Cullers, still at home, and Richard A. Cullers, Jr. of Mercerburg, PA, one daughter, Susan
Beth Crites of Moorefield, and three grandchildren. He is also survived by four brothers,
Stewart “Buddy” Cullers and Larry M. Cullers, both of Moorefield, George Cullers of
Spotsylvania, VA, Robert J. Cullers of Gore, VA.
Rick was a carpenter supervisor for Michael Construction Company and was a member of
the Calvary Baptist Temple in Rig, WV.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Saturday, December 29, 2007 at
the Elmore Funeral Home in Moorefield, WV. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on
Sunday, December 30, 2007 at the funeral home with Pastor Charles Snyder and Pastor
Michael Snyder officiating. Burial will follow at the Walnut Grove Church Cemetery in Fort
Run, WV.
Memorial donations may be made to charity of choice.
