Molly Katherine Harvey                Molly Katherine Harvey, age 93, of Newport News, VA, formerly of Moorefield, WV, passed this life on Sunday, December 12, 2010   at the residence of her niece, Phyllis Johnson with whom she made her home. Born in Moorefield, WV, on January 7, 1916, she was the daughter of the late Phillip Lowery and Willie Hychew Lowery. Ms. Harvey was preceded in death by three brothers.            Molly was a devoted teacher for 36 years at Moorefield Elementary School. She was an active member of American Association of University Women, as well as, United Methodist Women, and Local Retired School Employees. Molly was also an active member of Asbury Methodist Church in Moorefield, WV.        Ms. Harvey is survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.                 The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM on Saturday December 18, 2010 at Elmore Funeral Home. A funeral service will be conducted on Sunday, December 19, 2010 at 2 PM at the funeral home with Pastor Rebecca Bennett and  Pastor Danny Sterns officiating. Burial will follow at the Olivet Cemetery in Moorefield, WV.        Memorial donations may be made to Asbury Methodist Church: Care of Margaret Redman 127 West Brighton Ave, Moorefield, WV, 26836. Arrangements are under the direction of the Elmore Funeral Home.
