Michelle Lynn Lambert-Dove Michelle Lynn Lambert-Dove, age 55, of Moorefield, WV, passed this life on Saturday, December 18, 2010, at the University of Virginia Hospital in Charlottesville, VA. Born in Warren, OH, on July 18, 1955, she was the daughter of the late Benny Encil Lambert and Ethel Gae Harper Lambert. She was preceded in death by one brother. Michelle is survived by her husband, Alan R. Dove of Moorefield, WV, and aunts, uncles, cousins, and one great nephew. Ms. Lambert-Dove attended Fairmont State College and then transferred to Bauder Fashion College in Atlanta, GA, where she received degrees in Fashion Merchandising/Marketing, Professional Modeling, Interior Design, and Professional Make-up Artistry. She later graduated from the Atlanta School of Paralegal Studies in Atlanta, GA. She was employed as a Fashion/Advertising Model in Atlanta, GA. After returning home to care for her ailing parents, she continued her work as a local paralegal. Ms. Dove was also a member of the St. Louis Institute of Music. She was also a secretary to the Grant County Nursing Home Family Support Group which is a group formed for families of residents to voice their concerns and issues; there, she participated in a project to raise money for an addition to the Alzheimer’s wing. In 2007, she was recognized by Cambridge Who’s Who Registry of Executives and Professionals for Women to honor her scholarship and professional career. She was also an active member of the Mt. Carmal Church of the Brethren in Milam, WV, where she was a church pianist and Board Member. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 8, 2011, at 2 PM at the Moorefield Church of the Brethren, with Pastor Shyrl Smith officiating. Memorial donations may be made to Grant County Nursing Home/Memory Dementia Unit. Arrangements are under the direction of the Elmore Funeral Home. |
