Mary Louise Dean
Mary Louise Dean, age 87, of Moorefield, WV passed this life on Friday, January 23, 2009 at the
Pendleton County Manor Nursing Home in Franklin, WV. Born on June 5, 1921 in Hardy County, she was
the daughter of the late John E. Helmick and Rhoda Alice Whetzel Helmick.
Mrs. Dean was preceded in death by her husband, George Harold Dean in 1968. She was also
preceded in death by one sister, Vada Mongold, one grandson, Gregory A. Ketterman, and one great
great grandson, Larry Ketterman, Jr.
Mrs. Dean is survived by one daughter, Ollie Flynn of Moorefield, WV, one brother, William B. Helmick
of Harrisonburg, VA, four grandchildren, Robert Ketterman, Larry Ketterman, Sr., Sheila Robinette, Todd
Bramsen, seven great grandchildren, Sherry Nicol, Christopher Ketterman, Bryan Robinette, Tyler
Robinette, Cody Bramsen, Thomas Teets, Colton Bramsen, six great great grandchildren, Justin
Ketterman, Bryant Ketterman, Stephanie Myers, Isaiah Nicol, Brooke Ketterman, Blake Robinette, and one
great great great grandson, Aiden Ketterman.
Mary filled everyone who knew her with love and joy. Her sense of humor and outgoing personality
would affect anyone who came near her. She will be greatly missed by all who were lucky enough to have
known her and she will live on if only in memory within her family who loved her very much.
Mrs. Dean was a homemaker and a member of the Duffey Memorial Methodist Church of Moorefield,
WV.
The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. on Sunday, January 25, 2009 at the Elmore Funeral Home
in Moorefield, WV. A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 26, 2009 at the
funeral home with Pastor Doyle Patch officiating. Burial will follow at the Olivet Cemetery in Moorefield,
WV.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Elmore Funeral Home in Moorefield, WV.
