Leonard Calvin Entsminger
   Leonard Calvin Entsminger, age 69, of Moorefield, WV passed
this life on Monday, July 23, 2007 at the Winchester Medical
Center in Winchester, VA. Born on March 5, 1938 in Baltimore,
MD, he was the son of the late James Entsminger and Gladys
McKenzie Entsminger.
  
    Leonard was preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers.
  
    He is survived by his wife, Helen Rebecca Hose Entsminger of
Moorefield to whom he was married for 47 years. Also surviving
him are two daughters, Deborah Thompson and husband, Gary of
Marriottsville, MD, Shirley Baker of Elkridge, MD, two brothers,
James Entsminger, Jr. of Fulton, MD, Shelby Shifflett of Ellicott City,
MD, three grandchildren, John Riggleman and wife, Shannon,
Heather Andrews, Corey Baker, three great grandchildren, Justice
Andrews, Michael Riggleman, Ashley Riggleman, a special niece,
Sharleane Hose Price, a special nephew, Ronald Hose and wife,
Denise.
  
    Leonard served in the U.S. Army and was a retired auto
mechanic. He was a very active antique car enthusiast and was
also known as “Pops.”
   
   The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on
Wednesday, July 25, 2007 at the Elmore Funeral Home in
Moorefield, WV. A service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on
Thursday, July 26, 2007 at the funeral home with Pastor Don
Knotts officiating. Burial will follow at the Olivet Cemetery in
Moorefield.
 
     Arrangements are under the direction of the Elmore Funeral
Home in Moorefield.
