| Kristin Marie Norwood Kristin Marie Norwood, age 26, of Moorefield, WV passed this life on Saturday, July 31, 2010. Born in Winchester, VA on April 21, 1984, she was the daughter of Mary Beth Sager Hardy and step-father Howard Hardy of Rig, WV; Joseph Norwood Jr. and step-mother Wanda Norwood of Sharpsburg, MD. Kristin is survived by her fiancé, Eric John Vacovsky, one sister, Sarah Norwood of Moorefield, WV, one brother, Joseph L. Norwood of Sharpsburg, MD, two step-brothers, James Clark Long and Ross Hardy, a step-sister Morgan Hardy, maternal grandmother Phyllis Sager of Moorefield, WV, paternal grandmother Cecelia Norwood of Sharpsburg, MD, step-grandmother Von Hardy of Rig, WV, and one nephew. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather T. Lamar Sager, paternal grandfather Joe Norwood Sr., and Uncle Mark Sager. Kristin was a member of the Moorefield High School graduating class of 2002, the Epiphany Catholic Church of Moorefield, and the Moorefield American Legion Post 64 Ladies Auxiliary. Family will receive friends on Thursday, August 5, 2010 from 6-8 p.m. at the Elmore Funeral Home in Moorefield, WV. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, August 6, 2010 at 11 a.m. at Epiphany Catholic Church with Father Giles LeVasseur and Father Richard Hite officiating. Burial will follow at the Olivet Cemetery in Moorefield, WV. Because of Kristin’s profound love for animals, memorial donations may be made to the Humane Society. Arrangements are under the direction of the Elmore Funeral Home. |
