John William “Billy” Crites
John William “Billy” Crites, age 81, of Rig, WV passed this life on Wednesday,
February 7, 2007 at the Grant Memorial Hospital in Petersburg, WV. Born on March 19,
1925 in Hardy County, he was the son of the late Adam H. Crites and Joanna Jenkins
Crites. Mr. Crites was preceded in death by three sisters and five brothers.
He is survived by a sister, Edith Reel of Rig, WV. “Billy” was a member of the Rig
Assembly of God Church.
The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. on Saturday, February 10, 2007 at the
Elmore Funeral Home in Moorefield, WV. A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.
m. on Sunday, February 11, 2007 at the Rig Assembly of God Church with Pastor Brad
Taylor officiating. Burial will follow at the Crites and Eye Cemetery in Rig, WV.
Memorial donations may be made to the Rig Assembly of God Building Fund, 10
Queens Drive, Rig, WV 26836.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Elmore Funeral Home in Moorefield.
