James “Allen” High          James “Allen” High, age 63, of Morgantown, (Star City) WV, formerly of Moorefield, WV, passed this life on Saturday, August 27, 2011, at the Monongahela General Hospital in Morgantown, WV.  Born on August 15, 1948 in Martinsburg, WV, he was preceded in death by his father, Loy K. High and is survived by his mother, Mrs. Orpha Halterman High Hutson Orndorff of Wardensville, WV.     Allen is also survived by one daughter, Megan Haslam and her husband, Ben of Hayward Heath, England and one son, Justin High of Port Ritchie, FL.          Allen served during the Vietnam War in the United States Army. He was an accountant and a graduate of 1976 from West Virginia University with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.          A memorial service will be held at the Moorefield Presbyterian Church on Sunday, September 18, 2011 at 2: 00 p.m. with Reverend Forest Lee McDermott and Reverend Katherine Jackson officiating.     Memorials may be made to the Moorefield High School Scholarship Fund, P.O.
