Genevieve Crites Sherman        Genevieve Crites Sherman, age 78, of Fisher, WV passed this life on Monday, September 21, 2009 at Grant Memorial Hospital in Petersburg, WV.         Born on March 28, 1931 in Hardy County, she was the son of the late Homer Crites and Alice Reel Crites, she was also preceded in death by one son, Joseph William Sherman, and one sister, Anna Crites Miller.         She is survived by her husband, Lysle J. Sherman of Fisher, WV, one son, James “Jimmy” Sherman of Fisher, WV, two brothers, Robert Crites of Moorefield, WV and Carl Crites of Fisher, WV, five grandchildren.        She retired from Hester Industries and was a member of the Rig Assembly of God Church in Rig, WV.        Family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, September 23, 2009 at the Elmore Funeral Home in Moorefield, WV. A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 24, 2009 at the Rig Assembly of God Church with Pastor Brad Taylor officiating. Burial will follow at the Newhouse Cemetery, Rig, WV.        Memorial donations may be made to the Rig Assembly of God Church or Believer’s Victory Center.        Arrangements are under the directions of Elmore Funeral Home, Moorefield, WV.
