Felix Seymour Williams
Felix Seymour Williams, age 88, of Moorefield, WV passed this life on
Friday, February 01, 2008 at the Hampshire Memorial Hospital in
Romney, WV. Born on May 8, 1919 in Moorefield, WV, he is the son of
the late Thomas Seymour Williams and Mamie McNeill Williams. Mr.
Williams was preceded in death by three sisters.
He is survived by his wife, Jewel "Julie" Pepper Williams of Moorefield,
WV, two daughters, Catherine L. Williams of Bristow, VA, Elizabeth Anne
Larsen of Pittsburgh, PA, one son, Thomas Seymour Williams of Harpers
Ferry, WV, two sisters, Betty Lee of Los Angeles, CA, Mary Frost Rowe
of Old Fields, WV, and three grandchildren.
Mr. Williams served in the U.S. Army, was a retired program analyst for
the United States Department of Treasury, a member of the Old Fields
Baptist Church and Moorefield American Legion, a graduate of West
Virginia University with a master’s degree in Economics, and a member
of the Phi Beta Kapi fraternity.
Memorial donations may be made the Old Fields Baptist Church, PO
Box 99, Old Fields, WV 26845.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Monday, February 4,
2008 at the Elmore Funeral Home in Moorefield, WV. A funeral service
will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 5, 2008 at the
funeral home with Pastor Dan Howard officiating. Burial will follow at the
Olivet Cemetery in Moorefield, WV.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Elmore Funeral Home in
Moorefield, WV.
