Eunice Marie Southerly
Eunice Marie Southerly, age 80, of Moorefield, WV passed this life on
Wednesday, June 27, 2007 at the Winchester Medical Center in Winchester,
VA. Born on February 8, 1927 in Doman, WV, she was daughter of the late
Leonard Hines and Mary Funk Hines.
Mrs. Southerly was preceded in death by her husband, Dailey A. Southerly in
1989. Also preceding her in death was one brother.
Mrs. Southerly is survived by a daughter, Clara Kuykendall one sister, Goldie
Elosser, a brother, Gorden Hines, a foster brother, John Nelson, one
grandchild, and two great grandchildren all of Moorefield, WV.
Mrs. Southerly was retired from American Woodmark in Moorefield. She was a
member of the Duffey United Methodist Church in Moorefield, member of
Methodist Circle I and of the Old Fields Homemakers Club.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, June 28, 2007 at
the Elmore Funeral Home in Moorefield. A service will be conducted at the
funeral home at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 29, 2007 with Pastor Ed Craft
officiating. Burial will follow at the Olivet Cemetery in Moorefield.
Memorial donations may be made to charity of choice.
Pall bearers are Landon Shobe, John Basye, Bill Ferrell, Gary Evans, and
Butch McNeil.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Elmore Funeral Home in
Moorefield, WV.
