Edith Marie Whetzel
Edith Marie Whetzel, age 79, of Milam, WV passed this life on Friday, April 13, 2007 at
the Grant County Nursing Home in Petersburg, WV. Born on February 26, 1928, she
was daughter of the late Charlie William Cullers and Rosie Alice Mongold Cullers.
Mrs. Whetzel was preceded in death by her husband, Ira Harley Whetzel on February
17, 1988. She was also preceded in death by eight sisters and three brothers.
Edith is survived by a sister, Hulda Wimer of Moorefield, WV. Also surviving her are
several nieces and nephews.
Edith was a homemaker and a member of the Mt. Carmel Church of the Brethren.
The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. on Saturday, April 14, 2007 at the Elmore
Funeral Home in Moorefield, WV. A service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday,
April 15, 2007 at the funeral home with Pastor Shyrl Smith officiating. Burial will follow at
the Olivet Cemetery in Moorefield.
Pall bearers are Ralph Mongold, Mark Lipscomb, Billy Whetzel, Roy Ratliff, Rodney
Keller, and Orval Hinkle.

Avenue, Moorefield, WV 26836.
