Dolores Jean Ford
Dolores Jean Ford age 68, of Moorefield, WV, passed this life on Thursday,
January 5, 2012 at the Winchester Medical Center in Winchester, VA. Born on May 12,
1943 in Moorefield, WV, she was the daughter of the late Curtis Morris and Dorothy
Green Morris.
Delores was preceded in death by her husband, James Luther Ford. She was also
preceded in death by two sisters and one brother.
Dolores is survived by five sisters, Carolyn Morris Washington of Moorefield, Evelyn
Morris Woody of Columbus, OH, Kathleen Morris White of Santa Monica, CA, Connie
Morris Maynard of Keyser, WV, Wilda Morris Ricci of Payton, AR, five brothers, William
Morris of Moorefield, Allen Morris of Blacklick, OH, Michael Morris of Stone Mount, GA,
Gregory Morris of Portsmouth, VA, and Laurence Morris of Winchester, VA.
Dolores was a homemaker and attended the Moorefield Church of God.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Saturday, January 7, 2012 at the
Elmore Funeral Home in Moorefield, WV. A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m.
on Sunday, January 8, 2012 at the Moorefield Church of God with Pastor Carolyn Berg,
Associate Pastor Daryl Dunsmore and Pastor Danny Sterns officiating. Burial will follow at
Oak Hill Cemetery in Moorefield, WV.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Elmore Funeral Home.
